Our client is a major Media corporation is currently looking for Digital Analyst (with audience & ad traffic data analysis responsibility)
Main duties
1.To manage web analytics tool (WebSiteStory HBX) and proactively liaise with supplier, ensure accurate site and third-party traffic measurement and coding, provide traffic reports to digital commercial and editorial teams and champion HBX across the business.
2.Working closely with digital sales teams, the role will also be responsible for supporting their inventory reporting and forecasting requirements for online advertising inventory. This role will be integral to the overall Ad Traffic Operations team.
3.Linking analysis of audience behaviour and advertising serving opportunities will be a key part of the role.
Responsibilities
Manage WebSideStory’s HBX (Hitbox) website analytics tool and ensure accurate measurement of key advertising traffic metrics
Work with site developers/3rd parties (affiliates) to ensure that all sites/platforms are coded for tracking correctly (involves the distribution and management of javascript code)
Identify and implement tools to improve site traffic measurement/reporting
Become the key contact for website analytics across the business.
Trafficking, monitoring, optimising and reporting ad campaigns in DoubleClick’s DART ad-serving solution (DFP training will be provided) to ensure effective use of inventory
Liaising with clients, agencies, sales and technical teams
Producing regular reports on campaigns.
Monitoring traffic on sites, inventory forecasting availability and reports
Working closely with the sales teams to deliver campaign goals and revenue targets
Proactively managing campaign delivery issues
Relevant skills/attributes:
KEY: Strong experience implementing and/or maintaining website analytics tool (preferably Hitbox - requires understanding of HTML, JavaScript)
Trafficking experience and/or understanding of advertising technologies including DART, Tangozebra, Eyeblaster and other third-party ad product providers
Numeracy and analytical ability with excellent Microsoft Excel (inc macros) skills
Understanding of site architecture, content management, design/page construction, hardware and software involved in website production
